12 Days of Christmas – Paper Plate Angels

This is a really quick and simple craft to keep little people busy for when you need a few minutes to yourself. Like, when you want a cup of coffee without being climbed on. Or you want to go to the toilet without an audience. Or you need to distract your kids while you sneakily eat a chocolate.

All you need are paper plates, kokis, glitter glue, scissors and a stapler.

Draw the head and make two lines to show where the angel’s wings are, then let the kids decorate.

Cut along the top wing line and outline of the head, then cut along the bottom wing line. Fold the bottom piece closed at the back and staple closed. You can put your angel on top of your tree or, if you have more than one child and wish to avoid an argument over whose angel gets chosen for the tree, pop an empty toilet roll behind the angel to stabilise it and display the angels elsewhere in the house.

What do you put on top of your Christmas tree?

Talk to me. Seriously. You have no idea how badly I'm craving adult conversation.
